Crotalaria humilis flowers

Crotalaria humilis flowers grow solitary or in pairs on long stalks in racemes or at nodes opposite the leaves. Flowering happens from late winter to spring.

The faintly hairy calyx has five acutely pointed lobes that are pale green to brownish green. 

The oblong fruit pods are inflated, nearly cylindrical and hairy. The fruit is nearly 2 cm long (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
