Established among slaty rocks on a slope in the Kammanassie, this colony of Cerochlamys pachyphylla shows the signs of having lived through a long, hot summer. Leaves that haven’t acquired the sometimes common black lichen covering are yellowed from thirst stress (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
