Acrodon bellidiflorus leaves

Acrodon bellidiflorus branches near the base, forming small, compact clumps of creeping stems and erect leaves. The leaves grow in matched pairs, curving slightly inwards to each other at the tips, at least until the next pair emerges, forcing the older pair outwards.

The leaf-shape is triangular in cross-section. The leaves are bluish grey-green in colour. Along the upper part of the margins and the leaf keel one finds the defining tiny whitish, spaced and cartilaginous teeth (Smith, et al, 1998; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
