Oscularia deltoides leaves seen close-up show the spaced, pink to purple-tipped teeth along the leaf margins and the keels at the back of the leaves. The upper (or inner) leaf surfaces seen here appear slightly concave with faint signs of wrinkling as if they would appreciate some rain.
The opposite positioning of leaf pairs is well displayed on the branch shown, the unequal sizes of the pairs and their fusing at the base not so. Oscularia leaves are always covered under a white waxy layer (Smith, et al, 1998).
