The golden yellow to pale yellow flowers of Titanopsis calcarea are short-stalked without bracts. The calyx has five or six warty lobes.
The corolla consists of one to two whorls of narrow, oblong petals that are free. Some brown colouring is sometimes present towards the petal tips. The flower diameter is about 2 cm.
There is an erect cone of stamens and staminodes in the flower centre. Flowers only open in the afternoon, closing at sunset. The fruit capsules that follow have six locules, covered by pale-brown membranes (Frandsen, 2017; Smith, et al, 1998).
