Angraecum sacciferum flower

The resupinate flowers of Angraecum sacciferum grow in several separate inflorescences on short scapes, about five flowers in a raceme. The sepals are oblong to ovate, tapering to acutely pointed tips that may be slightly reflexed. The median sepal above is slightly bigger than the lateral pair.

The petals are flat, narrowly lance-shaped with acute tips. Sepals and petals are lime-green to greenish yellow, their blades translucent with large, fleshy cells. The lip is deeply concave to helmet-shaped with incurved margins that taper to a notably pointed tip.

Flowering happens in summer into autumn (Liltved and Johnson, 2012).
