Catophractes alexandri stem-tip leaves

The Catophractes alexandri young stem-tip in picture shows its thickish leaves, densely hairy to woolly on both surfaces. The visible stem part is also woolly. Uppermost leaflets are cream-coloured, the grown ones bluish grey.

The upper surfaces are somewhat puckered from the recessed veins that are prominent below. Leaf margins show the spaced teeth, some of them angular and mainly coinciding with the tips of lateral veins.
