Maireana decalvans

Maireana decalvans is a tufted to bushy shrub reaching 50 cm in height. The plant is an exotic, native to Australia and naturalised in South Africa. It used to be called Kochia tomentosa var. tenuifolia and is commonly known as the black cotton bush.
