The simple, sessile leaves of Pollichia campestris grow in whorls of about four, spaced and spreading up the stiff stems. There are membranous, free stipules that soon become dry.

The narrowly lanceolate to nearly linear leaves end in acutely pointed tips, tapering less to their bases than their tips. The leaf margins are entire. The blue grey to yellow-green blades are usually faintly hairy, the midribs slightly prominent on the lower surfaces.

Leaf dimensions are from 5 mm to 30 mm long and from 2 mm to 9 mm wide (Van Rooyen and Van Rooyen, 2019; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; Pooley, 1998; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
