A Roella incurva stem-tip may bear a solitary flower or a group of up to three. The nearly white petals of the flowers shown here render the truly white, crescent rings around the upper sides of the midway petal markings almost invisible. The spreading petal lobes are round-tipped with tiny central protrusions. Corolla diameter is from 2 cm to 3 cm.

The stamens arise from the base of the cup. They drop off before the flower fades. The blue stigma has two fleshy lobes at the tip of the erect style in picture. The female floral part ripens and functions after the stamens of a particular flower, in the interest of cross-pollination.

The leaf-shape can be observed in some mature, though dry leaves in picture. The axillary tufts or rosettes of small, young leaves are green (Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
