Colpias mollis, commonly known as the rock snapdragon and in Afrikaans as the klipblom (stone flower), is a small, densely branched shrublet in the Scrophulariaceae family reaching heights up to 20 cm. It is the only species of its genus, a monotypic genus. The mostly pendent branches are hairy and brittle.

The species is endemic to the northwesterly corner of South Africa, Namaqualand in the west of the Northern Cape and notably parts of the Richtersveld near the Gariep River mouth.

The habitat is mostly south-facing crevices in large granitic rocks. The small white-flowered plants are seen in the photo on a rock well above the ground. The habitat population is deemed of least concern early in the twenty first century (Williamson, 2010; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist; https://pza.sanbi.org; https://redlist.sanbi.org).
