The opposite leaves of Anastrabe integerrima are simple, grown on petioles up to 8 mm long. The leaf-shape is ovate or elliptic to oblong, quite variable. The leaf tapers to a bristle-tip, is rounded to tapering at the base. The margins are entire, occasionally toothed and rolled under.

The shiny, dark green blades are hard, creamy brown and felted below with conspicuous midribs. Leaf dimensions are 2,5 cm to 11 cm long and 1 cm to 3,5 cm wide.

The main stem may reach 16 cm in diameter but often divides into several stems. The wood is hard, said not to be attacked by termites. It is used to make spoons (Coates Palgrave, 2002; Pooley, 1993).
