Rockwood or Heeria argentea fruit are found on the female trees only. The fruit shape is extraordinary and inconsistent, like the art works of kids who don’t receive high marks for clay modelling. This inconsistency is even present in the case of the fruits in the photo.
The leathery drupes, usually somewhat oblong in shape, may be green, red, yellow-green or pale cream. The fruit measurements are typically 2,5 cm by 1,5 cm (Bean and Johns, 2005; Coates Palgrave, 2002).
