Cysticapnos vesicaria subsp. vesicaria coloured fruit

This Cysticapnos vesicaria fruit is mostly pale pinkish red with darker veins, purple-red under a soft, powdery sheen. The inflated fruit hangs with pointed tip from a slender pedicel on a plant in the Biedouw Valley in September (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
