There is no privacy in the bush. Everybody is ogled, inspected, assessed, spied upon. Every move and bodily function of every species is of interest. All people are paparazzi in the lives of all other species!

One may spot and identify the southern yellowbilled hornbill on a buffalo thorn branch as it has already done in reciprocation, but miss the snake in the grass or the beastie crawling onto one’s shoe!

The living watches the living, eyes upon eyes, like one network of intrigued, high curiosity life. The identity of the most dangerous, most destructive species of all time on earth is not in doubt. It’s not the hornbill.
