    This Dasispermum suffruticosum plant looks ready to be served on a plate in a gourmet restaurant... as is!  Likely to be favoured by colour loving vegetarians!

    The green parsley-like leaves with their fine divisions are easily recognised. The orange ones are being decommissioned from photosynthesis duty. The open flowers are white or cream coloured when fresh, with tiny yellow centres. The other colours presented here indicate developmental stages in ongoing fruit and eventually seed production (Manning and Goldblatt, 1996).
