The Restio sieberi inflorescences consist of spikelets that are from 6 mm to 20 mm long. The bracts below the florets are without awns in this species.
The male plant has several spikelets per culm and several florets per spikelet. The picture shows thin upper branches of a culm ending in spikelets. These thin, cylindrical spikelets have pointed tips, at least some of them curving.
On a female plant there may also be several spikelets on each culm, the spikelets spindle-shaped comprising several florets. The one- or two-chambered capsule bears white or translucent seeds (Dorrat-Haaksma and Linder, 2012; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; JSTOR; iNaturalist).
