The three Geissorhiza ovata stamens are erect over the flower centre. The dull whitish, translucent filaments are cylindrical, about as long as the brown, oblong anthers at their tips. The anthers lean inwards and touch each other in the photo, their surfaces rough with pollen grains. The style ending in three short branches is visible above the anthers.

The ellipsoid tepals have rounded tips, slightly concave, particularly in their upper parts. Faint longitudinal furrows indicate parallel veins from the tepal bases to their tips. The tepals may also be faint pink and the veins on them more distinct.

The dark brown markings on the tepal bases are similar on inner and outer tepals. Each tepal is here marked by a distinct central line and two smudged groups of shorter lateral lines (Manning, 2007; Bean and Johns, 2005; iNaturalist).
