Sometimes white or cream, Geissorhiza erosa flowers are often red or purple. They grow in a spike, the number of flowers in the spike variable, usually between two and six. The stalkless flowers are spaced along the upper stem portion, not densely clustered so that all flowers are visible, several of them often open concurrently.
The flowers tend to point in the same direction, while Geissorhiza flowers are generally spirally arranged (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://hortflora.rbg.vic.gov.au; https://www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
