Gladiolus vinosomaculatus flowers

The three, columnar anthers of the Gladiolus vinosomaculatus flowers in picture are straight, parallel and nearly erect below the dorsal tepal, producing yellow pollen.

The female component of the pollinator welcoming committee, the three-branched style, should be arching over the stamens in accordance with Gladiolus visitation arrangements, but is obscured or absent here, maybe late.

Floral bracts in picture show parallel veining and margins rolled in like curtains half-drawn. The inner bract tip in view is well shorter than its outer counterpart (Goldblatt and Manning, 1998; iNaturalist).
