The Geranium drakensbergensis leaf is digitately divided into three to five oblong lobes that may bifurcate again a little above the base. The leaf margins are toothed, the large narrow teeth ending in acutely pointed tips.
Recessed veins branch into lobes and teeth on the mid-green, fresh green to grey green upper surfaces. A dull gloss may be present on the upper surfaces where blade parts next to veins bulge slightly (iNaturalist; http://pza.sanbi.org).
