    These much divided Garuleum bipinnatum leaves display a few, scattered hairs as well as some folding in of the narrow sections around their midribs. A bright green leaf colour communicates no complaint about the rain.

    What appears like solitary teeth or lobes on some sections are probably emerging sections of new divisions.

    G. bipinnatum leaves are highly palatable to stock and game and are much browsed. There are eight species in the Garuleum genus in southern Africa (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
