The ray florets are flexed down around the heads with slight and repeated longitudinal folds. The disc florets are few, the inflorescence compact and easy to negotiate for flying insect pollinators (Curtis-Scott, et al, 2020; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
