New Sansevieria cylindrica leaves start off thickly triangular with a concave upper surface from clutching and sheathing the stem, mainly the collected older leaves in the centre. Faint, longitudinal channels are usually spaced upon the hard, eventually about cylindrical to narrowly spear-shaped leaves when mature and elongated. Leaf-tips are invariably sharp to ominous, the colouring variably green to grey-green and sometimes blotched.
Gardeners sometimes braid the leaves of the plant sometimes displayed in containers. This may inhibit growth to some extent.
The plant is said to be toxic (iNaturalist; Wikipedia; https://allthingsgardener.com).
