The cream to almost white flowers of Pelargonium elongatum grow long-pedicelled in umbels of up to about six on a long peduncle. The five sepals are narrow with acutely pointed tips.
The five spreading petal lobes of the two-lipped flowers are oblong with angular tips, particularly the upper pair that is larger. There are wine-red line markings in the throat on the upper petals. Flower diameter is about 15 mm, the corolla tube up to 15 mm long. The slightly exserted stamens have orange anthers.
Flowering happens all year round but peaks in spring (Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://www.fernkloof.org.za).
