The leaves of Aloe kraussii grow in a fan-shape, only spiralling into something of a rosette in some old plants. The broadly linear leaves are slightly channelled above, smooth and pale green to dull green in colour. The leaves taper abruptly to acute tips. A few white spots may be present low down on the outside surfaces. The leaf margins have narrow, whitish cartilaginous ridges with minute teeth. The teeth are widely spaced low down on the leaves and smaller to disappearing higher up.
Leaf dimensions are normally 30 cm to 40 cm long and about 3,5 cm wide. Old plants may have bigger leaves, up to 60 cm long and 5 cm wide (Craib, 2005; Pooley, 1998; Reynolds, 1974; iNaturalist).
