Doing its thing in the Drakensberg, this Crassula setulosa var. rubra plant flaunts several branched inflorescences topping straight, leafy stems. The ovate leaves continue into the branches below the dense flower clusters. The blades are mainly dark red, some dull to pale green low on the stems on upper surfaces.
The terrain is rocky grassland near the Sani Pass (Smith, et al, 2017; iNaturalist).
