The simple, alternate leaves of Jamesbrittenia kraussiana are ovate to oblong, ascending on short stalks. The variably green blades have midribs and ascending lateral veins sunken on the upper surfaces, prominent below and somewhat hairy. The leaf margins are coarsely toothed. Leaf dimensions are 15 mm to 45 mm long and 3 mm to 20 mm wide (Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
