The simple, opposite leaves of Nemesia denticulata are sessile, meaning without petioles.
The leaf-shape is narrowly but variably ovate, the margins serrated or toothed and sometimes curving down, the bases rounded to lobed in a heart-shape and the tips acutely pointed. The midrib and one or two lateral veins on both sides of it are sunken on the upper surfaces. The leaves tend to cluster low on the plant. Leaf dimensions are up to 3 cm long by up to 1 cm wide.
A couple of flower spurs can be spotted in the photo (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Manning, 2009; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
