The Adenium multiflorum corolla lobe colour definition between white and red or white and pink may be less marked on the flowers of some plants, more subtle or gradual. The petal fringe colour bands may differ in width. The dark lines into the flower throat may also be quite faint or about absent in some flowering forms.

In cultivation, as the plant in picture, winter dormancy as manifested in leaflessness, may miss the normal triggers such as lower temperatures and stark winter light, causing the leaves not to drop, or not as much (Coates Palgrave, 2002; Onderstall, 1984; Codd, 1951; iNaturalist).
