There are those that live lighter. Not defying gravity but using less to live on and impacting less on nature. Some of them are at peace as they are, want few things from the advanced world that appears in some form in their line of sight. At a distance. Some consciously treasure the lifestyle of their ancestors, far from the madding crowd.
But many want to go and see. Make their fortune. Their children often want more of what’s over there. And often regret, as they get sucked into city slums rather than the glittering lights that promised fun. The percentage of city dwellers continually increases on earth. The city outskirts are continually being transformed more widely into the best of both worlds by those that can afford it. Few run away from it all. Back to the bush to breathe deeply, sigh for no known reason, lick their wounds and avoid the mental institution.
Spare a thought for the blanketed man and his horse. Would that the world doesn’t disturb the peace of those that sustain this lifestyle. And that the wisdom in harmony will reign more widely.
