    Pelargonium alchemilloides painter's dream leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

These eye-catching lemon green Pelargonium alchemilloides leaves sport maroon to brown zonal markings and dramatic variations in the lobe shape department. Petiole hairiness in picture exceeds leaf hairs by far. Lobe-tip teeth size differences are big enough to marvel at. The zone markings assume floral proportions.

This was seen in the KwaZulu-Natal Drakensberg (Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2009; iNaturalist).
