    The fruits of Asclepias praemorsa are narrow follicles. A young green pair on curved pedicels is visible in picture, a brownish, solitary one as well. The small sepals are present behind the spindle-shaped, ridged follicles that taper more to tip than base, the upper part being longer than the base.

    The seeds to be released later are attached to silky hairs that facilitate wind dispersal (Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
