Brunsvigia bosmaniae young anthers resembling short purple worms carried on white filaments are visible from most open flowers in picture. Some buds higher up in the umbel are not yet open, their stamens and styles not yet exserted. Some flowers down below have anthers that are paler and older. The ripe pollen of this Brunsvigia species is cream coloured (Duncan, et al, 2016; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist; https://pza.sanbi.org; https://www.worldfloraonline.org).
