Delosperma ashtonii, commonly known as the flatleaf sheepfig, is a low-growing mesemb. The roots are tuberous, the crowded branches erect, reaching about 8 cm in height. All the green plant parts are soft and faintly hairy.
The species distribution is in the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal.
