The centre of a Delosperma ashtonii flower is replete with stamens. The inner ones end in creamy anthers, their filaments straighter than the outer, visible ones.
Delosperma flowers can have either smaller petals than the normal length ones on the inside of the main whorl around the flower centre, and petal-like to thread-like staminodes around the stamens.
In picture the curly pink ones around the dense stand of functional stamens are probably staminodes with some stamens among them. Below them, expect the usual nectar glands and stigmas in the centre base of the bisexual flower, ample stock of what is needed for reproduction (Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist; https://www.researchgate.net; https://www.worldfloraonline.org).
