Delosperma ashtonii flowers grow solitary or in groups of up to three at stem-tips, sometimes aggregated on many-flowered branches. The fairly large bracts are positioned near the middle of the pedicels.
The five sepals are unequal, the two at the ends of the elongated (or flattened) calyx are bigger, the sepal lobes from 6 mm to 9 mm long. Petal colour varies in shades of pink, the petal bases sometimes paler.
Bloomtime is summer (Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist; https://www.researchgate.net; https://www.worldfloraonline.org).
