Disa porrecta flowers

The flowers of Disa porrecta are pink, orange or red, the petals and lip often yellow. The median sepal at the top of the mouth is helmet-shaped, about 5 mm tall and equally deep. The long, thin, cylindrical to cone-shaped spur ascends or extends backwards behind it. The lateral sepals are broadly ovate to obovate, from 6 mm to 8 mm long. The petals are erect, sickle-shaped or lance-shaped to oblong, flanking the rostellum. The lips in picture are yellow, protruding below. They are oblong to lance-shaped, from 7 mm to 10 mm long (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Liltved and Johnson, 2012; Gledhill, 1981; iNaturalist).
