    Geissorhiza erosa anthers may also be orange. Here they are laden with ripe pollen grains that make the surfaces appear rough. Such a cup appeals to various insects species operating differently, but they all eat and transport pollen (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://hortflora.rbg.vic.gov.au; https://www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
