The two-lipped flowers of Watsonia watsonioides are tubular or a flared funnel-shape, varying from nearly straight to slightly down-curved. The short, pointed to rounded tepal lobes are straight forward or variably outcurving. Flower colours range from white to cream or ivory and pale yellow. There are fewer plants bearing maroon flowers in the east of the distribution range in eSwatini. The corollas are from 16 mm to 18 mm long.

The filaments of the stamens are from 10 mm to 12 mm long, the anthers yellow. The style arches over the stamens. The globose fruit capsules are up to 8 mm long, the seeds narrowly ovoid and angular (Manning, 2009; Onderstall, 1984; iNaturalist; https://www.worldfloraonline.org).
