 An Anemone vesicatoria inflorescence may augment its primary umbel into secondary umbellules, from additional peduncles emerging with the primary umbel floret pedicels. In picture it appears as if the process can be repeated to tertiary umbellules. And maybe more, if the going is good? Small bracts are present at the nodes, the branching points (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Curtis-Scott, et al, 2020; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist).
