A Brachystelma franksiae subsp. franksiae flower has a small calyx ending in five greenish, acutely pointed sepal tips visibly pointing down below the corolla in picture. The five oblong, erect corolla lobes are coloured white or pink, their tips pointed. The lobes are about 8 mm long and 3,5 mm wide, the margins strongly rolled under and bulging on the inside. The erect inner corona lobes curve in, taller than the style that they shield and whiter than the corolla. The outer corona round-tipped lobes are shorter, visible in picture outside the inner corona.

The fruit to follow is a slender follicle (Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
