    Geissorhiza erosa where people walk
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

Imagine what a flower can do for lifting the spirit on days of worst news. Veld walks clear heads via random encounters with the living doing their thing, guaranteed to shift moods. The mind agreeable in the moment to let go, moves on, focuses on the new.

A fynbos path like this is a choice that rarely disappoints the spirit. Geissorhiza erosa and its blue brother, cousin or neighbour (Does it matter which?), impact far above their size on the mind of the pensive, partly absent onlooker.

And nature does its work. Brings the mind intuitive understanding of how the moment relates to eternity.
