    The longish, thin leaves of Lampranthus stenopetalus grow in opposite, equal pairs, spaced on the stems. The succulent leaves are nearly cylindrical to slightly triangular in cross-section and taper to pointed tips. Rough-surfaced, the leaf colouring is blue green, grey green or sometimes dark green.
