The inflorescence of Pelargonium coronopifolium is a small umbel of up to four flowers. Its peduncle is from 3 cm to 6 cm long, occasionally up to 14 cm. The sepals are green to reddish brown, oval in shape with pointed tips. They form a short tube around the corolla base.

The buds in picture droop, their pedicels waiting for reinforcements to straighten at anthesis. Bloomtime is spring to early summer (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; Wikipedia).
