The alternate, sturdily stalked leaves of Cotula discolor are finely twice-divided into narrow lobes that are acutely pointed. The erect lobes are sparsely hairy to velvety in grey green, blue green or mid-green, appearing soft and feathery.

Leaf length is up to 27 mm, the width up to 19 mm (Manning and Mucina, 2013: Cotula discolor. African Journal of Botany, 88, 240; iNaturalist).
