Indigofera denudata new growth is visible in picture, both in greener stem-tip leaves and in clusters of small, globular buds.

The terminal leaflet in the trifoliolate form leaf is often bigger. Some inflorescences appear more raceme-like than clustered, when the buds are spaced on the stem or axis. Vestiges of lateral veins can be discerned on some leaflet blades.
