    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Carina Oosthuizen

The simple leaves of Monopsis unidentata subsp. unidentata in picture appear opposite and about stalkless. The leaf-shape is narrowly oblong, sometimes slightly wider and elliptic, tapering to acutely pointed tips. The margins may have one tooth on each side, as the specific name indicates, although some leaves have more, others none.

Leaf dimensions are around 10 mm long and 4 mm wide (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2009; iNaturalist; https://pza.sanbi.org).
