This Erica plukenetii subsp. plukenetii grows thread-like, somewhat ascending and curving leaves, pinkish right at the stem-tips.
The stalked flowers nod once they open, accessible to pollinators, hanging wider than the leaves. The light-coloured corollas become slightly pinker nearer their tips as they mature. The sepals at the back are narrow. The exserted anthers in the front are brown, as is normal for brown-tongue heath (Manning and Helme, 2024; iNaturalist).
