This large Helichrysum cymosum subsp. cymosum bush near Arabella by the Bot River Lagoon has variable numbers of flowerheads waiting for insects in its numerous, erect, stem-tip inflorescences in November. The upper stems are not branched near the flowerheads, each focussed on the compact yellow offering to clients all sorts that are sure to oblige on the bright sunny days of the season.

The narrow stem leaves below the heads are green, the stems whitish grey, covered in soft, short hairs (Manning, 2007; iNaturalist; https://pza.sanbi.org).
